Default What stall for 224/230

What stall for 224/230 on 114 LSA in a Chevy silverado 1500? Is B&M Torq master 2000 good enough for DD with that cam?

Do you already have that cam? What kind of LSA are you looking at? Since it is for a truck, are you planning to tow/haul anything?

A tighter LSA will have more overlap, which would give a choppier idle quality. The rougher the idle, the higher the stall speed that may be required to avoid surging while at a stop. A 2000 stall is only marginally better than stock. If you are going to be towing, and keeping the stall low for that reason, I would advise you to consider less cam. I would suggest this cam - Thunder Racing Custom "Old Man Truck" Camshaft - 214/220 .600/.523 115 LSA +2

I already have the cam in and it has 114LSA. Not much towing. I looked at the cam specs and it says 2000-7000 RPM range, this is why I am thinking of 2000 stall but I can go for 2400 if it's required.

Is the torque convertor for an F-body going to fit the chevy truck 4L60E transmission.

BMM-70418, Torque Converter, Tork Master 2400, Chevy, 700R4/ 4L60E, says "Not designed to work with 1998-2002 Firebirds and Camaro" at Summit. Does that mean it will not fit the truck transmission.
