This cam seems to getting popular lately? I was looking into it for the last 3 weeks but decided that I will most likely not go with it, becuase I am unsure of the p2v clearance, and what something that wont require me to check/replace springs every couple thousand miles. turbosix just got his H/C setup finished with the T-rak and should be posting dyno results today, and antoher person posted last week they finished a swwap for the T-rak and really liked it even when it wasn't tuned yet.

Fluck yeah you would.
You would make it there easy as long as you have a good tune and good 60 ft time.

The Trak also work with stock unmilled heads. P/V clearance become a concern with milled and aftermarket heads. I am tossing around the idea of using this cam or just going with the MS4 and TSP/PRC CNC LS6 heads. My rear end would have to wait to be ordered if I do heads and cam. Decisions, decisions...

Portting them would definatley help out. I just would not mill them trying to raise compression without being leary of P/V clearance issues.

PP would help, just make sure to keep you OEM valves aswell, and if you are serious are doing the heads aswell the 243 casting heads are on sale untill labor day for 995 assembled to there stage one specs with patriot springs which you will need anyways for that cam so you may want to consider that, as for the springs you will most likey not have to replace them for every 15-20K miles but it would be a good ides to atleast check them every 5k or so

depending on the price of the port job, I would look are getting a set of cheap ls6 heads instead. I would get a LS6 oil pump and LS2 timing chain. Most of the larger cams from anywere are going to require you to change your springs every 15-20k, if you don't want to do that, don't get a big cam. Its a great cam by the way, about time people start to realize it.
