Default Distance from Oil Pickup to Bottom of Oil Pan?

Does anyone know what this distance is? I spaced my windage tray a little higher to make some more clearance with the rod bolts and I don't want the oil pickup tube to be too close to the bottom of the pan. I only added about .080" of spacers under the windage tray so I'd imagine I'm okay. I'm just worried because the oil pan took some "negotiating" to get on.

I had around 3/8" or so in my 383 ZO6, but I have searched around and 1/4" is a number to shoot for. I haven't had any problems just don't go any closer than 1/4".
