Default Damnit :(

well the car is apart and has been for some time..heads are off..oil pump, timing chain, cam the whole 9 yards...well today i walked outside to stare at the motor for a little bit and wish it was running again...when i noticed the crank keyway wasn't in the same position I had left it in...(****!!) so then i look up about 2 second's later to obviously find that the number 1 piston wasnt at TDC anymore either turns out my dad was messing with it last night when i was out...so what am i to do?? If i put the piston @ tdc on #1 then go dot to dot will it be ok? i dont know how many times the crank was turned..and would it even matter if it was on intake or exhaust stroke since the cam and timing chain are out of the motor? thank's for any help i am stressin big time

Eh? Crank keyway? We dont have keyed cranks stock.

As long as you line up the dots once you put the cam gear back on, you'll be fine. You can go turn the crank 8743 times if you want and it doesn't matter. Move the stuff all you want.

The computer figures everything else out from there using the crank position sensor.
