These heads are on ebay and I'm having a hard time believing they are real the seller says he can't send pictures of the casting number because he's out of town.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1

They do have the "D" shaped ports. But for that price? Get them from Patriot performance for $385.

What gets me is aren't the 243 heads supposed to have yellow paint on the springs and red paint on the intake valve and white paint on the exhaust valve ? He says they are new.

And "he's out of town". Anything else that could be more sketchy with this guy? I hope you don't get ripped on these.

He has a good feedback and 616 positives. I doubt he is missleasing anything on purpose.

that indicates that they are the regular valves from the LS2's and not the sodium filled ones from the 01-04 ZO6 LS6. i just got new ones and they had the orange and white paint on them too.

Sot the orange and white paint indicates the sodium filled valves?

Yeah, not a very good price on ebay. Get from patriot. Better yet, save up the scratch to get a set of stage 1 stock valves heads and gain a lot more power than just switching to a stock casting.

Stage 1 Stock valve heads? Are those the ones from patriot?I looked at patriots website and it appears that they use the truck head castings.Don't the 243 castings have more potential?

Not on the website. Search this site. Patriot, TSP and Livernois sell ported stage 1 true 243 castings with stock valves for under a grand. Theyre flowing ~300 cfm and making great power for the price.
