Default Car is smoking

I have a 2000 WS6 and its smokes whenever I floor it. I raced a car yesterday and everytime i shift it threw black smoke and right after i pulled over to check the smoke it smoked for about 5 seconds then it stopped. Its black. Then when I am driving it regular it goes back to normal. Iam having a O2 sensor problem.Could that be it?

I think you should go get a dyno tune. Just have your tuner delete the rear o2s from the pcm, essentially the computer forgets they were ever there.

If it was ME...I would get some High flow cats. But only because I want some cats on my car to make it sound not as raspy. Either way you can go with whatever you want.

1. get some high flow cats and plug your downstream O2's back in.

2. get some O2 simulators and leave the exhaust how it is.

3. get a tune and have the downstream O2's deleted from the PCM.

I wouldnt get a tune until you really need one though. They are expensive and I would wait until you get some other stuff done to your car before I would spring for a tune. That way you would save some money in the long run. I think the best choice personally is high flow cats in my opinion. The cheepest is probably O2 Simulators. Go with whatever you want though.
