Default head gasket - can I use 02-newer on a 99?

I have a 99 with a 853 casting. My heads do not have the notch in them that a lot of the 853 castings do. Does that mean I can use the 02 or newer steel head gaskets? part number 12498544?

If your head doesn't have the notch you can use either the composites or MLS gaskets.

confirmed, I just installed newer 12498544 on my 99 with 853 heads that do not have the notch. It's up and running with no leaks
