Default crank bolt

did a search and gout nothing, can it be reused. cars has 30k on it.

Yes, you need a new bolt. I'm not exactly sure why, but every how-to and even a GM LS1 shop book I have handy says NOT to reuse it.

Never reuse the Balancer bolt. It is "torque to yield" which means it is "stretched" the right amount to maintain constant pressure.

Same for the head bolts.

ok thanks, are gm head bolts any good, i dont have the funds for arp at the moment. was wondering if a new set of gm bolts would work and if so, is there a torque spec?

gm head bolts are good, but there a one use item. i just bought arp head studs as the're reusable, studs make things alil easier etc. i also got an arp crank bolt, just got a new crank bolt with my ud pulley , but i had to take it off to do a cam swap, so most likely i will have to again later.

GM head bolts are $50, ARP studs are about $250, ONLY reason why i got them is because i know ill be taking my heads off a couple of times and also that im going to be spraying in the future.
