Lightbulb Am I thinking right?

I am getting ready to put the GM hot(219 228 .525) cam in my car, which I got a great deal on the cam and springs. Anyway I got the blue ls6 springs that ae good to .540 lift. did I do good to get these since I dont have the money to upgrade pushrods timing chain etc. will these be less hard on my valvetrain than if I would have run a stiffer spring?
