Changing cam in the car

I bought one a plastic block and bolted aluminum heads on it. I threw in some wooden pushrods and elastic connecting rods for variable stroke. I cut out the pistons from some dinner plates I had laying around. It ran pretty good.

So true! Knowing how my luck goes something like that would most likely happen. Thanks for the help, hopefully my cam from Patriot will be here this week. I ordered it last Thursday, aren't his cams off the shelf meaning they are ready to be shipped? I've got a 4 day weekend so I want to get this done, I went Saturday to Harbor Freight tools and bought a 3 armed puller and a new 3/8 drive torque wrench. This cam swap is a little more expensive than I thought, oh well, it's worth it.
