Default which heads to use

i just got a 6.0 with 317 heads that i want to drop into a camaro i just needed some info on which heads to use. my friends are saying to use the 5.3 heads on this 6.0 that this would work way better than using the 317. or should i just slap on the 5.7 ls1 heads that i have.

The 317's have a 72cc combustion chamber. The LS1's have a smaller combustion chamber and will increase compression. The 5.3 heads have an even smaller combustion chamber, as they increase compression on a LS1 motor.

Use the 6.0 heads, just mill em for more compression, don't use the 5.3 heads in unported form, the chambers are WAY TOO SHROUDED.

i would have the 5.3 heads ported and polished and milled and use them.
