Mine are milled .040 which is supposed to be 11.0-1 ratio. Haven't installed them yet so I am not sure if I will have an allignment issue.

some SDPC heads are milled .055; these heads require you to shave the manifold alignment pins and to consider different lenght push rods...

...not sure i ever got a straight answer on the expected compresssion ratio of this settup....some with this setup say it runs fine on pump gas...

Steve...I think Cammin' went .060 on his to 11:3:1 w/out issues, but was running less lift/dur. Remember...yours are already .030.....
Talk to Paul @ Thunder to see if he thinks there will be any P/V issues before you cut any more.

I talk to Paul @ TR.

With the 230/224 Only .015 can be taken off a 5.7 head without having PV issues. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> There goes that idea <img border="0" alt="[burn out]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_burnout.gif" />

How much can be milled off the deck of a 5.7 head, without having alignment problems with the intake? I'm trying for a 11.0-1 CR.

Is anyone running 11.3-1 CR on pump gas, 92?

Thanks!
