hey guys i just change my motor out of t/a 98 i full the 5.7 ls1 out and put a 5.3L of chevy pick up...i use the 5.3 coil and i ran for a week and my maf air sensor is out on me bought a new one and install clear the code run for another week then the maf air sensor is out again...do u guys think i need a tune or there is something going wrong here and i just did a4 to m6 can u guys show me what i gotta do to make my car run right also my shifter is hard to shift specially reverse it really hard to get there thanks for the help

 

Did you double check all wires, make sure you did not pinch them while taking the old motor out or putting the new one in. Are you running the truck cam and injectors aswell or did you switch ?
By the way was the tranny from a wreck? It would seem than it would be internally or the lock out switch solnoid is on or stuck, not the right connection.

 

there is no wire pinch all wire checked and the car run rich w/ the motor ..this is what i use with the truck motor" shortblock and head, the onlything that i change over is the ls1 water pump and ls1 intake and everything else using 5.3L
