Help with heads for max effort 427
Im currently building a 427 for my c5 and i need help on deciding which heads to go with this is my plan so far i already have some of the parts:
ls1 block
callies dragonslayer crank
oliver billet steel rods
custom ross pistons
billet main caps
all arp hardware
tool steel rings
Dry sump
oil squirters
titanium valves
jesel shaft mount
im currently making an itb intake for it and am getting alot of the coatings done at swaintech. My teacher said i should be able to rev to 8500-9000 im a little skeptical of this what are your opinions on how high i can go. Im aiming for every last drop of power out of this motor and im just trying to decide on which heads i need i dont want to have more flow than i need and waste more bottom end torque than i need to. The cam isnt final yet but will be around .650 lift and its gonna be a solid roller. I havent finished deciding on compression yet i originally was gonna go with 10.5 but now im thinking of bumping it up a little. TIA
