i've never heard this exact setup, but in the past when you pair a large cam (such as your ms4) with loudmouth or loudmouth 2, you get a very "crackly" sound similar to many high performance drag cars. If you like that sound, a cam like that would be good.

How far are you planning to spin the engine? Wouldn't a 114 on that particular cam put the peak Hp around 7k may be even a bit higher?

I just got done installing one in my car with the standard 111 lsa. Here are my comments so far. My car is going to be a bit limited due to my stock manifolds however I have ORY and a Borlamouth (XR-1 mufler). Without a tune it was vicious the car would not hold idle to save it's life, it was almost undrivable. It would die, surge and buck. After I tuned the idle, so called "misfires", spark tables and error codes, the car drove pretty good for such a big cam. As far as sounds it rattles the walls in the garage. It does make the car sound like there is bigblock stuffed under the hood. I drove it to work for 2 days so far and have gotten nods and thumbs up. Once you step un it it pulls hard all the way to redline. I dropped it off tonite to get dynotuned so we will see how it does as far as hp. God willing headers and TSP Stg 1 heads are in its future, but I'm going to enjoy it as is until it goes for it's winter slumber.

I'll post a video as soon as I get a chance.

Damn...I just cant decide. Most are enjoying this cam a lot. I want to see what kind of numbers it will make with decent heads and full bolt ons.

I just ordered the MS4 with the PRC LS6 Stg 1 heads with CNC job. Got catless LTs and Spintech Side exhaust. As of right now TSP has the MS4 backordered for a week. I will post video when I get it done and eventually a dyno. Its going on a 2004 GTO (if you havent noticed).

Woohoo big 18. Im going with the 111 LSA for better torque down low. Last time I checked TSPs website tey only offer 111 or 112 LSA. Unless your going custom. Id do the 111 LSA for more torque. The only downfall of a tight LSA is worse gas mileage. Its not that bad but there. Maybee about .5 MPG less. But Im sure you didnt get this car for its economy. You should still do well since youve got LTs and porting everything on the intake side. The stock heads wont hold you back too much.

114LSA on that cam will give you horrible valve events for a 346. Dynamic compression will be in the toilet. 111LSA is good. 110LSA is even better.

I don't see an intake/tb anywhere in your current or future mods.

a 114 won't be very good with the compression your have.
I would do the 111LSA. The 114 might also change the P/V clearence a little, and when you only have a little to begin with, you might run into problems.

I thought the 111lsa would rev out higher then a 114? Thats what Combination told me about my LT1. Unless the mechanics are different on LS1s.

I myself am looking for a cam that will make great power... except I want to keep my redline much like stock. Around 6k...

I got the MS4 on 111lsa. Idle is lopey as hell. Its really loud. My numbers are in sig. The sound by itself lost me 3 races. They wanted to, then they heard it and said nevermind. Intimidation rocks. My 111 peaked out at 6850ish. Stock pulley, throttle body and manifold. 433rwhp not too bad.
