Default 233/239 question..

Hi everyone. Got a quick question about TSP's 233/239 595/603 xs series cam..

it is 1900-6500 rpm power band and I was wondering if this cam is a VERY loud valvetrain noise maker?

I have the ms4 now and it is VERY loud in the valvetrain. my engine builder claims that all big cams make loud noise (not lope.. I LOVE lope) but the rockers sounding like they want to fall off doesnt sound right to me. lol.

Anyways.. would this cam do the same thing?

I want a strong cam that makes good lope but has good street manners and not noisy in the valvetrain

Im running a TSP 233/239 with TR Chromoly 7.4" pushrods, and it is much quieter than my old TR227 with the SAME pushrods. Much more enjoyable to drive than before. I used to roll with the cut-out open to tone down the valvetrain noise lol. This cam make a little better power, has okay driveability, and sounds BADASS! i love it.

i am ALWAYS selling the car bro.

I just am trying to fix it up correctly. I am making tons of power now so it is easy to sell but I want to fix the new cam issue now.

How ya been?

Good, good, mega busy, saving for a house, working two jobs.
Myself and Mikey got out of the car club thing, no time, we're just done with that.

Just got a cam and all the goodies installed, tuning next up, probably @ Eastside.

How's things?

I'm running that cam and made the numbers in my sig...I've really liked it so far and I drive the car typically at least 300 miles a week.

Some noise in the drivetrain though...probably going to replace my rockers soon and I think I'll check pushrod length again while I'm at it....

Mine makes some valvetrain noise, but nothing abnormal. Just compared to my old cam this one is silent with 7.400"s. Finally got it tune. Drives great. Runs even better! I coulnt be happier with this cam.
