I have a lunati custom cam.....Its 228/232 .595 .595 on a 112. I like it it thumps descent and has a strong powerband.

I just cant wait to get my Trex or MS4!

I'd agree with the torquer v2, which was mentioned above.

918's maybe rated to 600 or even 615 but like said before you will be maxing the lift out and will wear out springs fast. if you do not or cannot change to springs that will handle it better then i would keep the lift lower. something in the 580's imo just so you will not have to change springs as often maybe.

I choose Thunder racings 230/224 111 LSA cam. I am also running Comp's 918 springs but the 230/224 cam dosen't come close to the .600 max.

i made 440rwhp with 4:10 gears and a 226 cam, theres more in it too with a thinner head gaskit and higher dcr. its not the highest hp out there, but driveability is very nice

im not worried about low end torque at all. but i might just jump on a good deal when i get offered it. its an ls2, no accesories, no cat, crap exhaust for now, and CAI. i want it to last me for a while and not hurt my 918's. i deffinately want it to sound a bit choppy tho! i saw a few cams, some that were too big and some that seemed a bit small. but they both sounded good. someone offered me a compcam 228/230 571/572 for $275 new. is that an XE lobe cam? would it make decent power? i just dont want to choose a cam and regret it, as almost everyone probably worries about.
