Default Yella Terra RR's and 98 valve covers

Do 98 sidebolt style valvecovers have to be moddified for clearance to fit Yellah terrah 1.7 roller rockers??

I'm pretty sue I read something when installing mine that they do need clearanced. I know with my center bolt style they clear fine though.

I know thats true for the Harland sharps, I dont know about the yella's though

I can tell you this, Yella Terra ordered 2 sets of 1/2" valve cover spacers from us 3 years ago because they said they needed them to allow their rockers to fit under stock covers. They want 50 sets a month of our spacer I was told. I waited on the order for 4 months. It never came. That next PRI show I saw the cast copy of out spacer in their booth.

Uhhhhhhh what? I didnt get any spacers with my rocker arms.

Hes probably just saying that you need 1/2" spacers for the rockers.
