I politely presented the information as it is: I HEARD it. I presented it as a rumor and not fact, so please learn the difference and get a life. The mods can speak up to me if they have a beef. I actually like TSP and buy my parts there most of the time. So get YOUR facts straight. Be a MAN and let's settle this in PMs so you can stop following me around tech like some kind of gay stalker.

The CNC work did not come from SAM.A well known person who works for SAM produced a hand ported model. At that point, everything else ( digitizing the port and producing the CNC code ) was produced by TSP at TSP.The crew at TSP deserve a lot credit. It takes an assload of work the produce a CNC ported head.It doesn't happen overnight it takes months of work.

I give TSP alot of credit; These heads should rock with the TSP 228R cam. Since you are online what other combos have you seen with this head that create great Daily Driver HP and TQ. What would you have gone with?

Let me just say that I never said that they messed it up even if they did change it. I'm just as intrigued as everyone else and if they perform like they should, I'll buy some as well.

It's cool. I've agreed to disagree. I'm not bashing anyone. I'm telling experiences and observations. This definitely wasn't a bash though. I want some terminators when I see some real results. I'm not against them at all.

I heard these heads were made by little magical elves that imbedded micro-nitrous pockets in them to give extra horsepower for atleast 100K miles......it's just a rumor though I COULD be wrong.

I mean come on, why even suggest something negitive about someone's product you have no experience with and when you have no idea first hand what you are talking about? The altered runner rumor is probably about the larger runner terminator port that is currently being developed from the first design. This is no "rumor" either.

Makes sense. They need to go after the bigger displacements as well.

I was thinking and tell me your opinions; with this head what do you all think about the Torquer V3 over the 228R cam? Just pondering...

I think it the TSP cam selection with these heads looks like this camaross2002
MS3>TV3>228R

The 228r will be very streetable, nice broad tq curve, fun to drive. The TV3 will still be a good street car, more top end, but still plenty down low. The MS3 will be a screamer. It will sound like it is cammed, drive like its cammed, and feel like its cammed. Not as much power down low as the 228r but who needs it when you have numbers in the 490/420 range?

That is pretty impressive for numbers; so it comes down to the V3 vs. the 228R both great cams.

The PRC 200cc head flow numbers looks great on the intake, but whats the fiugures for the exhuast side? am I missing something, an other head PRC LS6 heads also on the TSP website, only show intake values, do we assume the exhuast is 80% of the intake?

I was peeking around TSPs website and figured it wouldn't be that much trouble to look up the prices and guess at some HP figures for you. The electric water pump will cost you $529 and free up 15 H.P. The underdrive pulley is another $215 + $35 for new belts and will give you about 15 H.P. A fast intake manifold and Nick Williams throttlebody is $1250 and provides 20 H.P. Porting will cost you another $500 and give you another 15 H.P. So if 65 H.P. is worth $2500 to you go for it. I personally would invest in a set of rod bolts and some nitrous, which will cost you about $2000 if you have some one else do the labor for you and can give you an extra 150 H.P. when ever you want it. This is just one mans opinion, of course if I had won the lotto, I would do both.
Good Luck with your new combo, I'll keep an eye out for you in the dyno section.

The thing is, after you already have cam, heads, full exhaust, and nitrous alot of us are left with...."what to do now" so that is why we get those other parts you described. Wait till you can afford/need a Harrop intake for your 454ci....
