Yep, I think most people know that. The 6.0 aluminum LS2 block is def. a pita to find, the 5.7 LS1 is also more expensive (and I'd rather have an iron block for booster applications myself but that's just preference), the SSR motor is not very common and not very cheap, good luck with the LS7 and the 6.2 lol. The 6.0 is made with the same material as the 4.8/5.3. I wasn't saying that all the blocks are the same like with the Pontiacs (which they weren't, main journal size was different on most etc, but for the most part the motors were "the same"), but saying that you can make a 5.3 into an iron 5.7 at half the cost you would buy a 5.7 for, and the 6.0's are going up in price. I';m gonna drop a 6.0 in my truck when this one goes, but yuo don't NEED to buy a 6.0 block to make power

Dallas, what kind of LS stuff do you have at the house you might want to part with if any? I'm up off of Kingsfield and Chemstrand and I'm doing something very similar to TJ's(but I wanna be faster...NOT) I have a complete 5.3 combo(trans and all) but would prefer a 6.0 if I can find one in town that's reasonable. Give me a shout if you can and thanks, Bill
