I have 90,xxx miles on my car right now and it runs beautifully. When i bought it i was told it had new rings and pistons on the rebuild. Is there a way i can test to see if it is in good shape. Good oil pressure and no bad noises so i think its ok. I was told a compression test could maybe tell but i dunno.

 

Compression and/or leak down test will tell you if the rings are still in good shape.
