Default GM's new LSx iron block

I am attending the SEMA show this week and today I was making my way through the GM Performance Parts displays. I saw their new LSx iron block that comes in either a standard or a tall deck. Both blocks are capable to accomadate a 4.500 bore The standard deck can take up to a 4.50 stroke and the tall deck can handle a 4.250 bore! This means with the right combination of parts one can easily build a 500 inch LSx engine. The block is also made to accept ther new cylinder heads that has a extra head bolt per cylinder for those high boost applications. GM says it will easily handle 2500hp

One thing about the warhawk block. The GM guy said that they have only seen one block that was "built" it is on display here at SEMA. There are no running engines built on the Warhawk foundation. At least not to the guys knowledge or mine.

ummmm......need to redo your post...

Block: Precision cast iron, CNC machined
Bore: Siamesed, 4.25 max
Stroke: 4.500 max
Deck: 9.26 / 9.70
Main Cap: 6-bolt billet
Head Bolts: 6 per cyl. ( Accepts production 4-bolt)
Crank Sensor: Production 58X

seeing as how the LS series blocks all have a 4.4" bore spacing, that makes it just a "tad" IMPOSSIBLE to have a 4.5" bore
