what is a good set of gm heads to put on as an upgrade for an ls1 that is going built bottem end and twinn 66mm turbos... I will have heads ported and polished and set up but i want to know which set is the best to start off with...

 

i'd say the 243 which is the ls6 head but it has a small chamber,can't remember right off hand but probably between 64 to 67 cc.the 317 casting has a larger chamber,i think around 72 cc.

 

thank you for letting me know that it was a ls6 head.. i am doing this research for my dad and myself.. i got a blown ls1 for free and had both turbos sitting at my house and said why not.. SO its going in a chevy II incase anyone was wondering
