"It's a custom cam made for higher compression. When running cam only, you'll want to advance the cam 2-4 degrees (with an adjustable timing chain/sprocket) for more dynamic compression when running stock heads. If you're running ported heads with high static compression, then the cam can go in dot to dot."
I'm def not an LS1 cam guru, but I agree with him. I think it'll work good in my DD.
Thanks everybody for all you post!

Have you considered the Thunder Racing, 230/224 111LSA +0 cam?
I don't think I've ever seen anyone post up a negative comment about it. Reverse split cam for the win!

That's the latest thread on this cam. There are plenty others.

You might try a smaller Comp Cams 222/224 565/568 on a 112 lobe center. Made awesome power with nice street manners. I was worried it would be too small but was blown away with the HP #'s and torque. And if your using stock heads it should be a nice fit.

with an m6, you should be fine with the torquer cam and it produces some real decent power. a friend of mine had it in his ss and loved it. you're probably gonna be like the rest of us and wish you would have gone with a bigger cam....no matter what size you get lol

MTI Z1 Cam 236/236 .585/.585 112 Great Cam, With a good tune very streetable. Was my daily driver with that cam, made great power. I wanted to go big, like MS3 ect... And Jason at MTI, Suggested that i should go more streetable, so he suggested the Z1, The biggest cam they would put in my car, they suggest the Z1 in stroker motors, But i made 380 to the ground through a locked 4k stall, and full bolt ons. soon after i drove my car around i fouled out a 02, one of the headers rubbed up against the underbody. even after that with a lot of cam surge it still ran great. Never stalled out on me. A lot of people will tell you if u go with a smaller cam you will regret it, not saying i agree with them but both cams you chose are great cams. Good luck

It is also inexpensive, which is great, probably the least expensive out of all of these
