Default 24X reluctor angle

Does anyone know the angle of the reluctor relative to the crankshaft? I would like to match the waveform to the correct orientation of the crankshft angle.

I was also curious as to the reason for 2 rings phased out and if this is because of the pickup location or that the PCM actually uses both signals for timing. It appears that the crank position sensor could bisect the reluctor and pickup signals from both reluctor rings or that one reluctor ring could be used where the crank position sensor was oriented in the engine block in 2 different locations.

Thanks for any info.

Im pretty sure the second ring is used for the pcm to know when piston #1 is at tdc to keep it correct with ignitoin timing. i could be wrong tho.

I think the cam position sensor will give the pcm the exhaust/compression phasing and the crank reluctor will allow measuring the crank angle.
