Does anyone in here know the limits of the stock valve seats (4.8/5.3 heads) for larger valves? I have the opportunity to pick up some stainless 2.00 int/1.60 exh valves and wondering if these sizes will fit the stock seats without having to replace them. Any interference problems between the int/exh at this size? Obviously some valve work is in order for the seats, just don't want to replace the seats (additional costs) as this is a budget project.

Any help is appreciated.

You can go all the way to 2.02 easily, the exhaust can go 1.60 but its oppinionative at that point. Ive done a set with 1.60s before.

Yes I'm with Bo, but I know a few poeple running 2.04 intake on stock seats, I know them well, wait a minute, I'm one of them
