Default comp r's to morel lifters

im switching to morel lifters I previously had comp r's. anyways i was just wondering will my pushrod length change since im switching? Better yet is my preload going to change dramatically?

Yes, it will change. The morel's only require a .030 - .045 preload.

If you're going through the trouble of changing lifters be sure to get a pushrod length checker and set the preload precisely. Not sure what the preload is but I thought the Morels were taller anyway, so I think it is going to change one way or the other.

thanks guys i guess now i need to purchase one asap.. by they way when using a pushrod chkr with jessel ss rockers is there a different procedure to follow?

just looked them up and they are non adjustables, so i guess ill use the same procedure as stock right? have you guys seen any threads in here of some asking this question b 4? i searched but didnt see anything, want to make sure i measure it right..

It doesn't matter since you are measuring, but the Morel's are longer as well so you will need shorter pushrods due to length, and longer due to preload (Comp R's have a very small preload). Not sure where you will come out in length.
