Default difference between LS1 and LS6

Just wondering if the LS1 and LS6 share the same block and crank I know the cam,heads,and some of the intakes are diffrent ? Bye the way new to the site good to see some gm fans. thanks

crank is the same, block is different. between the blocks, the LS6 is a bit weaker than the LS1, but not by enough to make a real difference. If you were ever to get it sleeved for big displacement, you can't use the LS6.
