Default help me out...

Well, ive hit a "modders block" of sorts

I would really like to keep going on my car with mods but it seems like i cant do a damn thing without spending 2gs... of which i just dont make enough money to justify (unless its for a new rear end which will come eventually)...just not right now

anyone got some ideas on some things i can tinker with in the off season?

i'd say either nitrous or a set of budget heads.neither will be cheap but the heads will probably be alittle over a grand .

From your sig, I would take a look at some gears, like 4.10's or 3.73's depending on your overall goal/plan for the car. An N/A car, I would go 4.10's, Nitrous car, I would look at 3.73's, that will be a BIG seat of the pants mod, and not too costly.

Other than that, nitrous would be a cheap fix for now.

You might also want to turn to the suspension and making the car lighter. Getting the thing to hook up off the line and go around a corner a little better is lots of fun.

There was a set of LS6 heads cnc ported for sale for like $500. You might want to try bargain hunting (keeping away from junk of course) and see just how cheaply you can put a set of heads together.

You should get some head over the off season.....I plan on getting some!!!

As for modding your car....to keep with the overall theme, maybe a set of ported heads would be a good choice.

I dont see that you have a clutch listed...maybe get a good clutch

dont mean to hijack this thread ,but im in the same boat right now and cant decide between heads or nitrous both are abo8ut$1000 (budget heads)(nitrous with window switch and all safety equip) so what is the install cost for heads vs nitrous if you pay someone to install it
thanks

Heads are around 500$
Nitrous is around 300$

Also: Take note that Heads = Power 100% of the time. Nitrous = Not so much.
