Default Kryptonite Crankshaft

Tired of breaking those wussy forged aftermarket crankshafts? 4.125" stroke just doesn't do it for you? Boy have I got a (crank)shaft for you!

LA Enterprises builds billet steel crankshafts for applications ranging from Formula 1 to Top Fuel. They are about to release their new Kryptonite crankshafts for the LS1 engine family. As you would expect, the crank is whittled from a 300–350# bar of billet steel, in any stroke you want. There are a variety of lightening and counterweight profile options available. These are truly one-off customs, and will likely be priced accordingly. But for those of you that insist on the best (like PSJ), these look to be the cat's ***.

On the other hand, how much power can a stock LS1 Crankshaft hold?

I don't know of anyone that has completed any threshold testing on the stock crank. Anyone have any info on this?

i read somewhere that the rating was around 700 something, and it could take quite a bit of power, but people kept spinning bearings.

This is one nice crank, they have spent lots of time to make it the best it can be.

On the stock crank issue, we have made just over 700rwhp/750rwtrq! and the engine is still running strong; go figure. <img src="images/icons/smile.gif" border="0">
