Car does something weird when starting up..? insdie
TIA
Tony
Sounds like the battery....
I let my radio play for a little too long and it did the same thing...(I was washing the car) I go to start it up and it lags,lags,lags,lags...so I call up a buddy and he brings over the charger and then the problem is solved...
My neighbor is a mech for a local chevy dealer and found several things.
1. Clutch Sensor fried from leak in firewall.
2. Starter was intermittant going out.
3. Battery I replaced was still good no matter delco is POS.
4. Manual fan switch I yanked out was good. more bucks out the window. (yes yanked, was made when it would not start one morning)
Went to dealer with the laundry list to fix. They questioned me and I let them know that the competetor dealers mech said what was bad and they jumped on it.
Amazingly no more starting lag.
It may be the same, maybe not, but worth mentioning. HTH
