question about pulling the AC off

Weird...I have the fuses pulled for my ac and the compressor because they used to run all the time with the heat on. My AC kept breaking and I wanted to be 100% sure that it would never run again. My defroster still works perfectly though...

Your defroster will still work no matter what. It'll still blow out the vents, however, without the A/C compressor it won't operate at 100% effectiveness. By that it doesn't take the moisture out of the blown air and thusforth helping rid moisture off the windshield.
