Default carmoliva

I have a 2000 Z28.
When my car is at idle I can hear a slight tick. It goes away with higher RPMs.
Seems to be coming from the bottom of the engine, so I don't think it is the fuel injecters. Anyone else have a similar prob or know how I might fix the tick?

Could be an exhaust leak..

I get the tick tick tick from a ORP leak...but can be fixed easily...I bottomed out and bent the clamps...

If the tick tick tick was coming from the top it would be valvetrain most likely...but since its coming from the bottom its probably exhaust...

valve train in the ls1's are quite noisy, but if its from the bottom i would check all the joints where the exhaust meets from the manifold/header to the cats to the y pipe....

Check to see if the crossmember is bumping the y-pipe. Mine was doing this for a while so it required a spotweld to fix it.
