Default Counter weights on exhaust to reduce vibration?

I know this wont help with systems that are banging. With the ORP my exhaust was vibrating pretty bad when the cutout was opened up actually it was kind of funky before the ORP with the cutout. Some cars have a counter weight hung off a bracket attached to the exhaust system, I cant remember which ones but my Beretta may have had it. Has anyone tried this? It may help absorb some of the cabin resonance caused by a few of the cat-back systems in the cruising rpm range.
