NOS 5177 15 lb bottle fit just fine in the spare tire well??

Im makin sure i dont need to get the 10 lb bottle to make it fit correctly for my stealth install <img src="images/icons/tongue.gif" border="0">

I'm pretty sure (not 100% though) that you have to take the speaker out of the plastic cover piece. That's how my friends is anyway, and the valve on top is right there.

You can fit the 15lb. bottle in the spare tire well if you just ever so slightly tilt the bottle so the valve points toward the inside of the car. It is still almost perfectly straight up and down so that the tube in the bottle is still pointing toward the bottom.

I see an awful lot of people with there bottles mounted on sideways.....
I never thought it mattered, am I wrong?

Just to clear this one up, from my own personal experience from 2 months ago with the 5177 >>
The 15lb bottle fits fine in the spare well.
You don't have to take the speaker out.
You can mount it properly (label up!).
It takes some time to get it right, but it does work. By the way, very pleased with my own 5177 kit, and the hardest part of the install is 'stealthing' that bottle!
