Default Delete A.I.R. system?

Thinking of ordering some block off plates to delete the A.I.R. tube and pump. Will it cause the car to run leaner, richer or the same without custom tuning?

It will run the same, the air system is really only used on the first minute or two after startup. You will be staring at a service engine soon light, if you don't have some codes removed via custom programming, after removing it though.

Yeah, deleting the AIR system won't have any effect on how the car runs. Without custom tuning you'll just have to put up with the constant SES light.

...actually... if you only remove the tubes but leave the pump plugged in... (it will just blow a little air around the engine compartment...) then you won't throw an SES... <img src="images/icons/smile.gif" border="0">

...been there, done that...
