Default Which cam sensor?

I swapped an 02 motor (including cam)into my 98 TA and I'm still using the 98 PCM and intake. Which cam sensor do I use the 98 or 02? I'm running into a 343 code that is causing an SES light, the car is hard to start and doesn't pull hard.

Not sure what cam sensor to use, and if I need to replace it, which year sensor to use.

He is using the 98 sensor. We don't know if the 98 sensor is bad or just the wrong one to use on the 02 cam.

I double checked and the 98 sensor part # is different than the 99-02. I would use the one that matches the year PCM/wiring harness you are using. There is no difference in the reluctors on the cams. Otherwise there would be year specific cams and there are not (aftermarket).

On a side note, I have seen the cam sensor wiring get pinched under the intake manifold before on a reinstall. Might be something to check.
