Okay I'm fixing to start working on my car (heads/cam) and have a few questions. I'm going to be putting 01 p/p heads on it along with a LS6 intake. I'm going to remove all the EGR stuff along with all the A.I.R. crap. When I go to order my headers, can I just order headers for a 01 since I'm not going to have the EGR crap and just close up the tubes where the A.I.R. tubes attach? I'm going to have PCM tuning to keep from throwing codes.

you can buy the block off plates...

 

Yes, you could order the headers without AIR provisions... I have the entire AIR system removed off of my car.
