Cam
Well I'm looking at the custom grind Comp cam version of a 224/.591/114 cam w/ the 16 pacaloy springs, 16 chromeoly pushrods, and titanium retainers. I was also thinking about getting new lifters and adjustable timing chain. My question is would this cam have too high of a lift for the stock pistons? And if so what a good set of pistons and how much? Also should I just go with the 224/.581/114 Comp cam? Also what length pushrod should I go with that big of a cam? Thanks!

Stock pistons are fine.
Stock length pushrods.

Stock length pushrods.
You should only worry about changing your push rod length if you mill your heads.
That is a lot of lift for valve springs to handle. YES you can do it. What part number springs are you planning on using? Do you have open and closed pressures for them? I would like to see the specs.
Good luck.
