Question cam size?

i've got a '00 M6 SS and am shopping for a cam. i've got the necessary supporting mods installed or on the way...Based on your experience, what would be the BIGGEST cam i could run in my car?

that's a hypothetical question. just wondering what the biggest i could safely go is with just springs and pushrods then adjust from there. i don't want to cut pistons or do any head work. the car is a DD, but it's gonna see a lot of track time. i've got my bike and 2 trucks to drive if the 'camaro is bit too much.

The T-Rex and MS4 seem a little too extreme for my taste, but i DO want the car to idle like a bad s.o.b.

your thoughts?
