Re: ASP Crank Pulley.....Worth it?
The crank pulley shouldn't hurt your charging, but the alt. pulley may cause some problems, especially on an A4. At night your lights might dim occasionally when you are at a stoplight because the alt. pulley is bigger and the motor doesn't turn it fast enough at idle to produce enough power for A/C, headlights, radio, etc.
Because it makes your engine rev faster, it is harder to get traction down low.

Re: ASP Crank Pulley.....Worth it?
I just received my ASP crank pulley. Anybody have the GM part number for a new crank bolt? Did your pulley(s) come with instructions? Mine didn't. <img src="images/icons/frown.gif" border="0">

Re: ASP Crank Pulley.....Worth it?
Just ordered mine yesterday from Speed Inc. www.ls1speed.com but it does not come with the belts. Tom is offerring free shipping on them right now with a limited supply. We plan on getting the belts from a local autoparts store and my husband just got the $3 bolt from work. After hearing what everyone here has said I can't wait to get that pulley on.
