Default Stage II Heads & PCM learn

When I install the S2 heads, it should be the same as doing the Lid or FTRA. VMoore, and a few others, pointed out to me that I should wait for the PCM to learn the increased flow. And see how the car runs and A-Tap. Instead of automatically sending my PCM back to be re-tuned.

Sounds right to me?

If you're doing mail order tuning, I would collect ATAP & wideband data before sending it back to your tuner. The only exception might be if your tuner has done several cars with your exact combo and knows exactly what changes are needed.

Thanks Ragtop. That's a good suggestion. I have A-Tap so that's not a problem. Is wideband a type of Dyno? There's only one dyno in this area that I know of and I'm not sure what kind it is? <img src="images/icons/confused.gif" border="0">
