8000 miles and only 3 runs at the track, 2 times with me where I broke 100 mphs and 1 time with my GF who went about 95mph, other than that my car is babied, I want her to last a long time, but still be fast....Occasionally I take some hard launches

Yeah, in the past I've done my fair share of talking, but I've NEVER gone after a particular person or shop with the vehemence you seem to be doing here on THREE DIFFERENT THREADS!
You seem to really have it in for the shop in question and won't stop until you make some kind of unsubstantiated point against them.
You get yourself a decent dyno sheet on a budget and all of a sudden everyone else sucks? Nice attitude.

See ya on the dragstrip.

That jagged look to graph is caused by how smooth you bring car up to speed on rollers. I ran into that on my first pull because some guy told me i could go right from 1st to 4th gear! Car and rollers seemed to chatter thru the hole pull. I went smoothly thru each gear on remaining runs and jagged lines went away.

gm has notoriously used "weak" valve springs for 2 basic reasons, fuel economy, lower tension springs cause less rotational friction which increases economy. the second reason is warranty lighter spring will lose their tension quicker and lessen the useable RPM will lessen the RPM related failures. i'll get the actual spring rates tomorrow and post them here

I'm going to scan my dyno chart tomorrow, maybe then we'll be able to figure out the problem.

Regarding the valve spring question;

Where is the name of the shop on the dyno?

Dave, I would take the car to another shop and have it re-dynoed to see if they come up with the same diagnosis.

Mrb

It would be 3 cars that went to the same dyno, but mine was in the fall.

If your dyno sheet looks like the one posted, then the shop is completely wrong. That dyno shows absolutely no signs of valve float. Looks like someone wants to make some cash on valvespring swaps! Especially if your car is an 02, which has the valvesprings shimmed an extra .020" to increase the load, they shouldn't be floating. I've only seen a few isolated incidents where a stock motored car had valve float issues at stock rpms. I'll have to see if I can dig through my dyno sheets to see if I have one saved from a car with floating valves.
