Default Using Stock temp sending unit for aftermarket gauge

Is it possible to do this? If so how. I am not liking the stock gauge telling me 200-208 from 190-230.. That is bunk!!

I don't think that it is possible. The stock sending unit sends a signal to the PCM. Any modifications might cause a problem with the computer. I am hoping that LS1EDIT or one of the other programs will find a way to fix the dash to read properly. All this is assuming you have the newer setup ( started in 99 I think ). Hopefully someone with more technical info. can help out with this.
