Re: New info on GM PCV valve fix....
I know Im getting blow by from the pvc because when I did my ls6 intake on monday I could see oil buildup in my throttle body as well as in the intake runners of the cylinders.
I'm guessing that this isn't helping make any power, so what can I do to eliminate it?
PSJ, did I understand correctly that you just plugged yours? Does that throw any codes?

Re: New info on GM PCV valve fix....
Ok guys just got back from the track and checked my oil level since the new valve. It is still 100% full. (its usually down 1 quart after a weekend of racing)It looks like so far the valve is doing the trick. I will keep you guys posted. So this would replace the "mod" I have made with some fuel filters?

LS1JM,
Is this all you did? Just switch out PCV valves, and your oil consumption was eliminated? No other things done to the car?

Do your LS1's consume oil???
I change my oil/ filter religiously with Mobil1 5/30 every 4K!! I have yet to see ANY oil used in that time frame. Mine is also a daily driver!!You guy's must race yours quite often. Or you just give em hell!! "Not that it's a bad thing"!!

silicone hose connecting the MAF and the TB. Had to cut off about 1/2" on mine to make it so the lid would go back on. It's smooth, not an accordian like the OME piece.

The only down side is a constant vaccum leak
to the pan.Smaller orifice size is why this
does not show up as increased RPM's This will
show i'm pretty sure as a drop in vaccum
