My ’89 Formula 350 used to do that. It needed valve seals. I don’t know of any LS1s doing it though <img src="images/icons/confused.gif" border="0"> Could be valve seals I guess.

I routinely let my Z28 sit for 1-1½ weeks, and have never seen any blue smoke. I agree w/ RPM WS6 - sounds like weeping valve seals.

I'd put my money on valve guide seals. My T/A did this when I had the CNC heads on it, and the seals had gone bad.

Default blue smoke on start-up....

how many of you ls1 owner experience this?

you know what I'm talking about, go start your car up in the morning after it's been sitting 1 or 2 days and nasty blue smoke puffs out the back for the first couple seconds....

Mine does but only if it's been sitting for more then 3 days, but none the less it pisses me off! <img src="images/icons/mad.gif" border="0"> <img src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" border="0">

ditto on the valve stem seals. It wont hurt the motor any it is just annoying.
