Just installed heads/cam/headers have ?'s
Just installed heads/cam/headers have ?'s I just finished up the install of my heads, HAMMER cam, and slp LT's.
How do I get this to idle.....
I have a 3600 vig..stall
and I do have a MAFT...but I don't have autotap.
just need to get it to idle so I can drive it.
It now seems to idle fine for about 2-3 minutes and then starts surging and goes dead.
Any help is appreciated.

Re: Just installed heads/cam/headers have ?'s first off whenever you reset you pcm or diconnect the battery there is a security feature that is activated. you have to turn the ignition on and then off removing the key for about 15 seconds. Re: Just installed heads/cam/headers have ?'s Your IAC count is probably real high an you need an idle speed higher than stock. you're shooting in the dark w/o ATAP, but you can try enlarging TB hole by 1/32" or 1/16" to get a higher idle and a lower IAC count. If you get idle up too high, that will throw a an SES code.
