maf bad?

I am having this weird prob...at around 4500 rpms #8 will start to get an extreme amount of misfires...over 1000....after about 5500 it will clear up and cylinders #3 and 4 will do the same thing. Pulled the plugs and they looked ok. Could a bad maf cause this? I mention the maf because at the same time it has developed a hesitation when suddenly going to full throttle

got another maf..same prob. It does the weird hesitation thing still as well even when going to half- 3/4 throttle. Any ideas? I'm gonna swap plugs and wires to a different cylinder and see what happens

swapped plugs and wires with another cylinder...next will try a coil swap

think its fixed...not near as many misfires ....leaned it out some
