Would it be okay to run these plugs on a n/a motor? I am getting some knock and hope these plugs will help that. I also plan on adding a dry nos setup later so the plugs will already be in. What should I gap these at for n/a use.
Thanks in advance.

Sure, they'll be fine NA. You don't want to change the gap more than .010 and they come gapped at .039. If you're going to install N2O soon then go ahead and gap them at .038-.040.

They're defineitely a colder plug and be ready for a rougher idle.
If it still knocks, use some octane boost just to see if it takes it away. Use a brand that is reputable and you have heard good things about. Some use dyes that can harm plugs. NOS makes a couple of good ones. This will not, however, be your ultimate fix for detonation.
Have you done any lid or intake mods recently?

You're idle will not be rougher with TR-6 plugs. More likely you'll find it's smoother if you're using stock plugs now.
Use some unleaded racing gas to confirm that the KR you're getting now is indeed real and not false KR.
What do your O2 sensors tell you?

z28ss21; sorry for not responding to your email. the reason i run the colder plugs is to reduce engine knock from the ported maf running lean. no NOS in the future for this car.

I didn't get the car to get good mpg it was nice to 32.8mpg <img src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" /> on trip <img src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" /> with the TR55's
With the TR6's the car just <img src="graemlins/gr_chug.gif" border="0" alt="[chug]" /> the fuel down only getting 20-21mpg <img src="graemlins/gr_cry.gif" border="0" alt="[whiner]" /> in my normal driving instead of the average 24mpg.

Mmmm, I have TR6's at .45 and get 19-25 mpg with headers, 3" o/r Y, no cat-back(just over the axle), lid, Maf ends, MAFT... In an A4 and stop and go traffic most of the time.

Hmmm...I wonder why some have a rougher idle with them and others have a smoother idle? <img src="images/icons/confused.gif" border="0">
I went from stock (good idle) to Autolite 103s (rough idle) to TR-6s (great idle.) My TR-6s were gapped at .037.

TR6's gapped at .040 and I've probably checked my wires and plugs three times , just to make sure they're all tight. LOL
4 months with heads and cam and you would think I would be used to it, but sometimes that idle seems off.
I guess burning the CPS harness twice would make me a little leary as well.
FWIW, we just changed my buddy's plugs from 103's to TR55's and his idle is great and he ran new best numbers on the spray. He's all bolt-on though.
