Default Dynoed with the Hammer cam

I dynoed this weekend with the C1 cam and my 100 shot. First pull was motor only, got 355 HP/ 360 TQ but the O2's were running 990mv the whole time. I'd like to get them down to 890mv on motor pulls. My next 2 pulls were with my dry shot and the first was the best with 473 HP/ 557 TQ but the O2's were still rich around 940mv. I dont mind them being rich when I am spraying, but I want to lean it out on motor so I can get that number where it should be. I was very impressed with the TQ number on the bottle pull. I am still surprised the stock fuel system is able to supply this much fuel. My timing stayed around 27º and knock never flashed above 1.8º. I was pretty happy considering if I lean out the motor pulls, I can pick up maybe 15+ HP on the motor alone. I just installed the cam 2 weeks ago so this was with no EW tuning. Only tuning was HPP3.

Well, I have the ET streets and ran a best of 12.3 @ 117 with a 2.0 60' on just the stock motor and a cutout with the 100 shot. With this setup, I need to put money in the rearend fund. I dont think with just the TA girdle this rear is gonna like 557 ft lbs at the track on the ET streets.

Congrats.

Your right... lean it out and you will find more power.

The other day a M6 buddy dynoed N/A with the Hammer cam, stage 2 MTI heads and a set of macs. 437.5 rwhp!
Jeeeez. Out of a little 222/222 cam! Man that was amazing.

Congrats, get a handle on your fuel curve.... and you'll be smiling even broader.

John, how much HP do you think I can pick up by bringing the O2's down to 890mv? Is 15-20 a good estimate or is there more in there? I am running the stock heads btw. Can't wait to get some ported ones.

Sweet,Congrats on the #s.

I bought the same cam and springs. Im waiting to get my block back so I can install them. Cant wait to see what #s I get also. I have the FLPs instead though.

I might get some porting done to my heads at a local shop who has my block.

One more thing, my peak HP was about 5600 on all the runs. Shouldnt this be higher? I raised the rev limiter to 6600 and am shifting at 6400. Should I bring it back down a little? Peak TQ was 4K on the bottle pull and 4.5K on the motor pull. I thought with this cam my peak would raise some.
